Approval In Principle 15th August 2006
Well we have finally received our AIP today and it now seems we are on the final hurdle to our new life down south, we have also been given further good news today our drafting was changed from Ohakea to Auckland which is going to be better for all of us I think in the long run.
Now we can finally start packing in earnest and getting the house in order to hand back to our landlord and finally put down our roots after two long years back in blighty not really settling to our new home in Lincolnshire, but the hardest part is leaving our two bigger boys behind to HMF British Army 22nd Cheshire Regt. But we are going to miss them both they have been in our lives for 19 years now and when they are finally ready to fly the nest you think your prepared for it but your never prepared to be totally honest.
Both are going to be in different locations while in training, Catterick in Yorkshire and Harrogate also in Yorkshire so they are not many miles away in theory to each other, I just hope that they both do fine in their training and get through the first few weeks without too much heartache, I'm sure they will be far too busy to miss Mum & Dad !!!
Counting down my last few shifts in Sheffield and looking forward to having a two week break before we fly out to NZ "I should be so lucky" more like painting and cleaning a house afte the aftermath of removal company clearing all your worthy goods....
